This spring, the staffing company LetMe rolled out Celeri for its employees. That means several hundred servers, retail workers, and restaurant employees across the country have been able to access their earnings in the Celeri app immediately after finishing a shift.

International studies have long suggested that real-time pay (Earned Wage Access) boosts motivation and reduces financial stress for employees. Now we’ve examined what Celeri users at LetMe think about it — and the conclusion is clear: monthly pay does not look like the future.

About 85% of respondents say weekly pay makes it easier to manage their finances, and 8 out of 10 say same-day pay increases their motivation to take extra shifts.

The survey indicates that real-time pay can be a major incentive to pick up additional shifts, making it easier for employers to secure staff. At the same time, the results show that employees also experience real benefits with Celeri; having more financial control is essential for managing everyday life and reducing stress.

In short, real-time pay appears to be a win–win for both employers and employees. The survey leaves no doubt: workers want to be paid as soon as they’ve worked — not once a month.
