Even in today's instant world, most people still get paid weeks after an honest day's work. The system has just always been like that: Work now, live later. In the meantime, credit cards, expensive loans and financial stress is just everyday life for the average employee – especially the younger generation who's new to handling their financial life.
As a society we've been told that easy access to money leads to no good, and that overspending and debt is nobody's fault but your own. It's actually the opposite way around; getting a bunch of money only 12 times a year doesn't make it easy to balance spendings all 365 days.
